Description: A feedthru is the simplest form of a hermetic solution. In general, it consists of an eyelet, a pin or electrode, and the glass. Ceramic feedthrus in contrast, could have only 2 components, the pin and the ceramic, although the ceramic has metallization on the outer diameter of the ceramic.
